Inspired by the birth of his twins, babyark founder Shy Mindel set out to revolutionize the convertible car seat. As an aeronautical engineer with expertise in designing life-saving seats for helicopters and armored vehicles, he was surprised by the complexity of installing his own child’s car seat. Realizing that if it was challenging for him, it must be even harder for other parents, he embarked on a mission to completely redefine car seat safety, ease of use, and innovation.

To help bring this vision to life, babyark was designed in collaboration with legendary automobile designer Frank Stephenson, former lead designer at BMW, MINI, Ferrari, Maserati, and McLaren.
